Lore
Heimdall is the ever-vigilant watchman god in Norse mythology, guardian of the Bifröst rainbow bridge connecting Asgard to Midgard. With senses so sharp he hears grass growing and sees for hundreds of miles, he needs little sleep. Heimdall possesses Gjallarhorn, blown to signal Ragnarök, and is destined to slay Loki (and be slain) in the final battle. Born of nine giantess mothers, he symbolizes vigilance, foresight, and the protection of divine order. His gold teeth and shining armor reflect purity and strength, making him a steadfast sentinel in Norse cosmology.
